unless your flight gets cancelled and you have to depend on United to get your box to your door :mad:

how much are you planning on bringing back? I think check-in luggage might be a good alternative
Planning to bring quite a bit back - I'm not in VT very often and want to bring things back for family and friends. Will probably check two boxes and maybe ship a third.

Hopefully United doesn't screw me...

Hello all- I'll be at FOFA and I'll have an extra ticket available as well. If you're looking for one, let me know. Face value or whatever you can give me so I don't have to eat the whole $75 would be cool.

Message me if you're interested

There is a plaza that has a headshop, tattoo parlor and fedex location at 1024 Waterbury Stowe Rd(right across the street from the Alchemist cannery's old location). I have heard from the headshop owner that a lot of beer gets shipped from there and they've had some issues in the past so the owner vigilant/******* about it.

I've heard the same from locals as well. Don't ship from the Waterbury FedEx.

Couldn't be further from the truth. I ship out of there every single trade I've made for the last 2 years. They know I ship beer, it's not a secret.

The issue they had was with someone sending THROUGH them (i.e. from their fedex account). As long as you have your own label and don't blatantly say things like "Yeah, I'm sending heady topper to my kid at college, what's the best way to package it? Is there any way I can keep it cold during shipping?" you'll be fine. It's basically a turning a blind eye situation.

Does anyone know if there were florence magnums yesterday?

If so, follow up question: does anyone want to trade one for a Brother Soigne Magnum?

This batch of Florence, CRAZY amazing right off the bat. Opened one yesterday so damn good. gonna open another in a few days here in SF.

Had F&D today (2nd time in 2 days) and it's great.

Went well with a crap load of SARA beers with friends.

I'm 'stuck' in the bay area until next Thursday. You all have fun and play safe @ FoFA. I miss you all.

Dear FoFA attendee:

[Please share the following message with your guest and designated driver…]

Continuing our tradition of raising money for local charities and organizations at our festivals, we are proud to announce that our local partner at the Festival of Farmhouse Ales will be Four Seasons of Early Learning (www.4seasonsofearlylearning.org). Four Seasons of Early Learning is a non-profit preschool that serves Greensboro, VT, and the surrounding towns, with the majority of their students coming from single-parent and working families. All funds raised at FoFA will help launch a new program that will teach students science, math, and reading through an innovative farm-to-plate curriculum that will have students plant a garden, build recipes, and ultimately serve the food at community events to feed their neighbors.

The fundraiser will be a bottle raffle, featuring several of our favorite bottles from our personal beer cellar. The bottles will be assembled into several lots, and a raffle ticket for each lot will cost $5. Although we have arranged to accept credit card donations, we would prefer cash so we can maximize how much goes to the charity rather than to the credit card company as transaction fees. The tentative list of bottles to be raffled is:

Lot 1: 2012 vintage Biere de Norma & 2013 vintage Biere de Norma

Lot 2: Civil Disobedience #5, #6, & #7

Lot 3: Anna Magnum (packaged May 2014)

Lot 4: Civil Disobedience #10 Magnum

Please bring (a lot of) extra cash, buy (a lot of) tickets, (with luck) win some great bottles, and (most importantly) help us support the great work of Four Seasons of Early Learning.

I look forward to enjoying a great day with you on Saturday,
Shaun e.

A lot. Some draft only batches too. I think the early 2013 batch wasn't dated though, I have an Arthur from Feb 13 that wasn't dated. Drank all my florence from that batch.

There's been at least 5 batches of flora. So as many, if not more, of Florenece. Figure they do the saisons 1-2 times/year an have been since 2011.
