my wife and I are staying in VT for a few days prior to FOFA (i don't have tickets). should we go up to HF on wednesday or thursday? will it matter? will it even be worth it, assuming they are holding onto the good **** for the festival?

I think the only bottles they are releasing at the festival are Vera Mae - there should be good stuff to grab (and growlers) on Wednesday and Thursday. Perhaps Arthur and maybe a CD release if we're lucky?

Wait you were there Saturday as well? **** man. I was there Friday 4:30-5:45 and Saturday from 4-4:30. Sorry I missed you.

my bad.. it was Friday... felt like Saturday... we were there for opening and out around 1pm... went to Parker then left straight to Tree House

Wednesday morning is the best time... sometimes they will have higher limits

I was going to photograph you guys playing in the grass but some parents are protective of creepy fat dudes photographing their kids so I abstained. Looks like you had a great day w/ a solid haul of flowers.

Dude.

Why would you even say something like this when you know how creepy and weird it sounds? You have no filter whatsoever.

So, now you can get a 750 of Nordic Saison brewed on the Hill (batch 1) for $10, or a 750 of Nordic Saison brewed at Anchorage (batch 2) for $12. Wonder which one will sell faster...

Is Nordic Saison kicking around any of the usual beer stores in the area, or is it brewery only?

Although it's not one of the area's usual beer stores, I did see a few bottles on the shelf at Willey's in Greensboro. I'm not sure if this is only a one-off arrangement.

I predict the next few months are about to get a little overwhelming for li'l ol' Willey's of Greensboro.

The Willey's store used to occasionally have some HF bottles from time to time. Last time I saw any HF there was back when Edith was available, but I haven't been there in close to a year. Even if Willey's does occasionally get a few bottles, I would still consider them "brewery only" bottles.

I wont be down for another 3 weeks or so...l anyone willing to do a pickitupformebro for a couple nordic (not arctic) saisons? Will gladly pay plus bring some bellwoods as a thank you.

ha one more question - assuming it doesn't rain, my accord should be able to make the trek, right? i mean, it will be ******* august. i've always chalked up the stories of people running off the road to either idiocy or inclement weather.

even if it does rain your car should make it fine. my jetta (with regular all weather tires) handled a 2' snowfall blizzard in late March with no issues.
people run off the roads? have to be driving like idiots...

i've heard a couple of stories, but yeah, i figured you'd have to be driving like a ******** for that to happen (read most of these stories on BA so it's a distinct possibility)

Bollocks. Susan kicked. Do they replace tap lines mid week?
Yes they do. As it kicks something else goes on
Usually, not always. I've been there with 5 beers on. If something's not ready, nothing will go on. I think I might have actually been there with 4 beers on, but that's certainly super unusual.

I drive a RWD/2WD 8' bed pickup there monthly, in the dead of winter/snow, and in mud season, and I've never had trouble getting there and back. I've seen plenty of people give up, park, and walk there... but I can't imagine any issue other than driver error holding them back if I'm able to make it.
