Wow. They have taken it up a couple notches with this expansion. Extremely impressive.

Trying to think of a scenario of how I might lose a 750ml growler in the back of my fridge, especially of something like Nelson single hop.

It wasn't even in the fridge, I found a ninja box that I had packed but forgotten to send for a few months. So the poor growler wasn't even refrigerated for the whole time. A real surprise lol

On Deck: George, More Abner, Grassroots Legitimacy, Susan, What is Enlightenment, Florence, Arthur...

Uh....... Florence and Arthur on tap ? I won't argue ! (unless these are bottles coming soon)

Makes me wish I had saved my BA Everett instead of opening it up the day after getting it so I could try it and the next one side by side. Extended aged GOM was night and day compared to the first release even though it was only 2-3 months longer in oak.

I've been proposing this to a few locals but if a group of you want to get together and buy a vacation home on Caspian a sort of 'beer geek timeshare', let me know.

As for the rest of the releases, I am excite. I have an old shoe at the house that gets all of my loose change and cash once a week. gonna have to fill it more generously from now on. All of these upcoming releases will at least be $20 each. That plus case limits on saisons has me in the poor-house lately.

I have a BA Everett still. I smell a waterbury bottleshare a-brewin....

Lake Caspian is my favorite spot in VT. Spending time up there is what introduced me to HFS.

Does anyone know anything else about Aaron? English/American style, or anything about duration/source of barrels?

I believe both the barleywine and old ale have spent a number of years in barrels, not months. I remember an old twitter reply from ages ago when Shaun answered a question about why no barleywines with something like "in barrels..." or whatever vague answer it was. I may be completely making this up though. Given how long recent BA Everett and GoM were in barrels, I wouldn't be surprised if they were aged a very long time.

Can't wait for all of these! I for one am excited to taste a HF barleywine and old ale.

The only important question is this: anyone already in line for Ann?

From March 29, 2012, "Brewing Aaron this week. Our first Barleywine - destined for Bourbon and, if they arrive in time, Port barrels. Aaron was my great great great Grandfather and the proprietor of the Tavern up the hill in the early 1800s. Our logo (glass) is from a sign that still hangs in his house..."
