Not in a while. It also happens to be my favorite of the S&S series

Looks like October is when S&S4 was last on at the brewery.

For me it's 5, 3, 1, 4, 2, 7 and 6 in order of favorite to least favorite (based on my RB reviews). Although I should probably re-rate #2 because I remember it was brewed around this time last year (2nd time it was brewed) and I loved it. a 9.5% roasty chocolate black IPA. Domed a 2 liter and it was a great night.

Phil doesn't believe I take on 2 liters of Abner by myself but it's roughly a 6-pack of beer from 5pm - 11Pm. not crazy really but Phil is a lightweight :)

Also, my HFS history sometimes is **** but I do believe S&S2 is the beer that became Jimmy.

I guess it depends on how you're defining a "6 pack", but it's over 9 units of alcohol. I've done it too, but it wrecks me. I guess over 6 hours, not so bad.

Us neck beards don't drink based on units. Basically I fill a glass of Abner every hour and then drink 2 glasses of water, go to bed and feel great the next day. I also weigh 290...but we're all different.

Haha, fair enough. At this point, I only fill 750s of the DIPAs - only things I've gotten 2Ls of at HF recently are Edward and single hop pales.

I've tackled a 2L of Abner by myself. Wouldn't say I felt great the next day, but I didn't drink as much water as you and I have no neckbeard.

We will be doing the ticket release through Ticket Alternative, much like last year with a multi-day sign up period online and then a random drawing of winners. The sign up window will be plenty of time for everyone to enter, and the drawing will follow shortly after that so winners can plan travel accordingly.

Sorry for the lateness, but so much has depended on the construction progress, as you can imagine. Thanks for your patience!

YES!! Never been to a FoFA before but it works out that I can go this year. Hoping to get lucky with the lottery now...
 
Seconded. Last time we went up, I killed a 2L of it by myself in under 36 hours.

Honestly guys how long do you feel HF Growlers last in the fridge?

As insane as this sounds, Frank found a 750ml of Nelson single hop in the back of his fridge this past January while Adam Jackson, ilovestouts, myself, and others were over for a tasting. It was honestly still pretty good. 6 months old. Completely carbed. No oxidation. It tasted like most bottled West Coast IPAs to be honest, and better than a lot of them.

EDIT: That being said, don't intentionally try this experiment at home kids ;)

Thanks for the info. I obviously know they stamp them for 1 week out. But I've had a couple 2 weeks out. Just wanted to know what is pushing the envelope for carbonation
