Is there anyone who lives near Hill Farmstead that would send me a bottle each of each of the currently available bottles: Anna, Port Damon, Twilight, BOT? I'm dying to try these beers. I'll send a Proprietor's BCBS, a Backyard Rye, a Dark Lord, some fresh Zombie Dust or Surly. Whatever is fair! Shoot me a message!

Have you ever heard of the trade forums? You should post this over there so I can comment on it.

I live close to HFS, under an hour with some good roads and some speeding. There are a few of us traders up here.

The issue is that most of us already have many trading partners and can't get enough bottles to satisfy them.

I agree with this. Except the part about there being any good roads up there. My place is only about 20 miles from HF. In summer/fall I can usually take the short cut that gets me there in 30 minutes, but winter/mud season it's over an hour. I think there's this myth of people who live close by hoarding all of these bottles, but I seriously don't ever see it when I'm up there. It's just a pain in the ass to get to, with tight bottle limits, and most people love to drink all they get or hook up established trade partners.

The roads aren't that bad, in my mind. I drive a subaru (duh :p) and it's almost entirely paved roads the whole way there, until you're actually IN greensboro. From where you are, though, yeah its lots of dirt roads and that'll make for a longer trip in the bad seasons.

But in seriousness, I think all of us who have ever made the trip there realize that nobody has "easy" access to unlimited HF beer

For folks in the Burlington area, some stores got a couple cases of Anna today. Pearl St. Beverage got 3 cases (at least thats how many they had on the floor). Selling for $24.99/ea, I passed. I'll just go to the brewery where my $50 will buy me 5 bottles.

Apparently it is a special holiday "treat" for the stores, according to the guy at Pearl St. Didn't seem to think there was any indication it would become a regular occurrence, which I'm fine with, as I have no intention of paying those prices.

Somehow, I doubt they'll have any problem finding someone who will though! But yeah, I'm with ya.

Debating going up next Friday for some. I have to imagine it'll easily last til then with them being closed next Wednesday/Thursday
I'll also potentially be there Friday, and then straight to Bret's apartment and your place Saturday...

My game plan would be to go up Thursday after work. Waterbury bars, HF first thing in the morning Friday and back down for a concert I have on Friday night

I can prob do Thursday in Waterbury...

Nice. I'll be in touch with you if I can swing it. All gonna depend on if I can get a car/what the weather would be like in VT for that Friday as I wouldn't have the most road-worthy vehicle with me (Mercury Grand Marquis)

If I meet you in Waterbury Thursday, we can caravan to a spot close to HF, then you can hop in the Subi.
