With the surge of visitors I can’t believe Flo Punch didn’t sell out.

Half the people in that line wouldn’t know Florence Puncheon from Flo from Progressive
Milkshake IPA's and big stouts are what's hot in the streets right now. FloPunch doesn't fit the bill, and with 6pp limits on 750ml bottles, I'm sure there's a lot of it. Perfectly fine with the masses not going crazy for it - more for the rest of us.

Correct, not rare enough. Funny, if it was 1pp, people would be losing their minds. I drank one, it was fantastic. Didn't blow my mind like Arthur Puncheon but few beers have like that one in the past 2 years.

Regarding Florence Puncheon, I think it’s just a huge batch. I heard the line was pretty crazy last Wednesday as well.

Yes. I have no reason to think it won't. Mind you I'm across the country and have no idea how many bottles they made, sold or are left.

I'm disappointed we haven't heard any stories about them matching IDs to known resellers/rafflers and turning people away ala the Art b4 release.

I thought I saw Bob come out with a couple print outs of what looked like mugshots before open, and got excited for some live bannings, but never ended up happening.

Sadly, since AutumnBeerLove left, I don’t think they’ve been quite as voracious. A couple of the other staff have been in contact with me via the FB group tho, so they are paying attention.

I think Bob and Phil and the only staff NOT in the group, this includes Shaun. So I love when people embarrass themselves by talking about him not knowing he’s in there. Lol.

Like the guy offering to buy people’s bottles for $100?

I'll finally be making what’s usually my annual trip out to the Hill on Wednesday, Oct 10th after letting 2017 completely slip away without a visit (I guess I can blame muh baby daughter for that egregious failure to plan & prioritize o_O). May stop in again that Thursday as well. If any of you good people are around and want to split some onsite bottles, hit me up. Really looking forward to throwing back some vintage goodness! #veryexcite

Oh, and if I’m planning to ship a box of bottles/cans back to Seattle and/or to my old man in upstate NY, where’s the best / safest spot to ship from?

I’ll be around, potentially both days.

If you have everything all set(re: boxes packed and label adhered) Pack & Send Plus in Waterbury (on the rotary) is an easy mission.

Over near Hemlock Lake, south of good ol' Rochester.

Sweet, thx. I'm also gonna be up near Burlington for a few days prior — I'll have to find some bottle shippers + packing supplies. My go-to out on the left coast is typically stopping in a U-Haul store. That a good bet?

So basically in the woods writing his manifesto? I lived in Rochester and now in Ithaca and never heard someone say they live by hemlock.

This checks out, via some early ‘70s typewriter. No computer. No smart phone. He’s the type of guy that would be loathe to visit a fine establishment like Hill Farmstead — decidedly too public, and frequented by a bunch of good for nothin’ know-it-alls. (In many ways I do wish I was kidding...)

That Art release day was pretty fun.
