Was planning to hit Parker Pie today but ate Farm to Fire at HF instead. 0 regrets. Really nice people and their pizza is fantastic.

Enjoyed a pie along w/ a pour of Karma Emulsion, which was so much better than I remembered, and finished w/ a bottle of Flora Blackberry. Awesome visit.

Farm to Fire is legit AF

Should be a madhouse next week. Hoping for 1pp or 2pp as that seemed to really stetch out the Aaron release.

Question: Are any of the taprooms I most care about visiting no kids allowed? My first time in your beautiful state since our daughter was born.

I have never seen any that were not family friendly. It depends on where and when you’re going I guess though. For instance, tomorrow at HF might not be a great day for a family visit, though as long as the weather is nice, one could hang outdoors. Foam on a Friday/Sat night is very busy. Other than that, can’t think of any other issues you might encounter.

Blind Tasting notes..."Coyingly sweet. (Could be Maple??)...Actually more like port barrel sweet...No Bourbon...So deliciously rich and silk-panty smooth...Taste the time in this...so effin good...I'm putting my $$ on port barrel...hands down fav..."

From today, CW dinner..? Assuming this is about the new Damon as well o_O

Looking back, there were some funny guesses about that beer. I thought it had coffee and cacao nibs in it or something because the finish was so chocolatey, but whatever, twas a great great beer.

i'll be in stowe all week next week--will there a material difference in crowds on thurs/fri/sat?i couldn't care less about to-go bottles if that matters but know this is busy season.

If you want a shot at the limited on-site bottles (usually 2-4 options, 6+ bottles of each), I'd recommend you arrive by 11:30am - 12:30am whatever day you go. If there's no new release, or if it's just a "normal" release (a CD or M&C) you shouldn't have any issues with crazy crowds.

If you don't care about guaranteeing yourself one of those limited on-site bottles, late afternoon on a Thu/Fri is probably your ideal time to be there. The early birds will have already left, and you should have little to no wait in either retail or tap room

Word on the street is Damon will sell out today for those considering going tomorrow

Edit: I was one of those considering going tomorrow

Actually no longer necessary to show up early for limited onsite. Onsite has been killer in the last week or two, they have a new system. They put out throughout the day notecards for limited bottles instead of putting them all on a menu. So you can show up at 4 and find some great options on the notecard.
