Didn't change my interest in DBD b2, and the ratings of Desarollo didn't seem to suffer... did your buddy enjoy the bottle?

We did enjoy it, but did not find it anywhere worth the money or close to the ratings. I would pass on drinking it again if it was at the same
Carb level.

Quite the announcement coming from the Northeast Kingdom

And for those of you who follow SARA, Recency Effect - a previous Cellar bottle - is being made available to the public...right meow.

Unfair has Residency 5 and 6, which were aged on the tears of non-CW members

Those would be my tears... Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed Residency 1 and 3. All were excellent but 1 and 3 were my favorites. The smoke on the nose of 3 was noticible and seemed to vanish upon taste. I loved it. 4 was very citrus heavy and unique.

On top of that taking with Tim about the beers was fantastic. What a fun social guy!

Visiting Hill Farmstead (and Vermont in general) for the first time this week. Looking at their website, it looks like the onsite food offering is a gyro vendor; hoping this is the same one that people are speaking highly of in the FoFa thread? Would be ecstatic to get down on a gyro and a couple of the Residency beers from sante if they last. Or worst case, drown myself in Arthur and various hoppy offerings. I’ve got just about a full week on the east coast, hoping there are a couple of canned offerings to enjoy the whole time.

Looks like timing worked out for a great trip... enjoy!

Well this didn't suck. What an awesome FOFA weekend. Also huge thanks to Os for organizing a private Jasper Hill Cellar tour, it was great to finally meet you too. I wish I could share a photo that may or may not exist but we were forced to sign a NDA. All I can say is it's as incredible as one would imagine.

If it is the same as FOFA, yes they are amazing! I think they are the only one so it should be them!

What a great picture. I was fortunate enough to have that cuvée thanks to Takeanotherswig! Thanks!

That jasper hill tour was absolutely fantastic. Thanks again to Os for working his magic. I believe Zoe said that the picture we took was social media approved...so:

I'm sure this is answered somewhere in the 1000 page thread, but can someone recommend some VT things to do on friday and sunday? We will be in burlington on friday morning and then staying in waterbury the rest of the time.

Any local tips on coffee shops, interesting stores, cool areas, or anything else not to miss while we are in VT. We already have reservations to hen and the wood for friday night.

i can repay you all in NOLA recommendations if you all ever come down here.

Was great hanging out with you and your wife Saturday night!

I might be more jealous about this than FoFA.
Seriously- I was completely free of FOMO because I missed it having wonderful weekend in Austin. But now...

$30/bottle for Residency beers and Westly is a STEAL for onsite. I was expecting $40 - $50. Also, probably the only time I would ever pass up readily available Westly.
I was confused by their post regarding only being able to sell two glasses at a time; are they offering bottles pours along with the whole bottle?

No bottle pours, only full bottles. You have to split with someone else. On Friday, because the line was insanely long, I ordered 2 bottles to split 3 ways. We couldn't then get another draft or anything. You can only have 2 glasses out per person at any one time.

Even the dregs counted, so we had to quickly down them because the guy pouring poured 6 glasses then 2 small glasses for the dregs of each. So we had 8 glasses for 3 people, which was a no go.

To clarify, last Wednesday or Thursday, the VT Liquor Control visited HF and let them know that state law only allows up to 2 drinking vessels per person at a time, which HF was unaware of. So they have been strictly enforcing the amount of glasses/vessels customers can have.
