Probably skimped on Palatine too......Thoughts while drinking today:
-I'm glad a bought a ton of Double Citra.
-I didn't buy enough Mary.

#teampalatine?Nope, got plenty of that and Cabana. Which is one of the reasons I took it easy on Mary. But I find myself drinking a lot of all three.
#teampalatine?
Next time I get ahold of Mary, some Suarez, and a couple other Pilses (I hope Trillium cans the one they had growler only a few weeks ago) I'm going to do a blind pils tasting. That will be fun.

I currently have Mary, palatine, cabana, and qualify. That is exactly my plan.
Coalesce is delicious but I feel like it'll stick out like a sore thumb, flavor wise, from the others. (I bet wuntrikpony will agree)I'm planning to do this at some point soon with the ones I mentioned along with Coalesce, which is a really good Czech-style pils from Veil, and then whatever other ones I can find locally that are fresh.
Shaun Hill is easily the best brewer in the world. There's honestly no one else remotely in his class, in my estimation. These beers are so much better than anything else I've had, in their styles, and this is true across so many different types of beer. It's just unbelievablethe degree to which I enjoy these beers more than other representations of the same style. I don't say this lightly either. It would be convenient if I didn't need to drive a thousand miles for my favorite beers, but that's just the reality of the situation.Has Hill been given enough credit for lowering the prices on his growlers? That is pretty much unheard of
hopefully this batch of sankt hans is carbed. i opened a 2015 ~6 months ago and it was totally flat.

Sankt rules even without carb <3
it's ok to be critical when a brewery screws up. i love hf too, but that beer should've been carbonated.

I may be alone in this but Sankt Hans is one HF/Grassroots beer I never got into at all. Maybe it was the older versions that had an off taste to me. I dunno. Hoping to hear something about Vera Mae soon though!
I like golden doesjel too. Carb would be nice for either, and HF and 3F aren't above criticism, but carb isn't an absolute deal breaker for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Looking forward to revisiting Sankt but am I the only one thinking... when's Nordic Saison making a comeback?

On that note when did Dorothy go up to $11?Sankt Hans was lower carb by design (according to HF). I'm a big fan and am excited for this new batch! It is interesting that it went up to $12 but still a good deal.
