yeah, I don't know the exact reasoning there... but if it turns into a "stealing dregs" conversation, I could see just not wanting to deal with it... again, it's not caring about the action but the subject being brought up.

much like Trevor didn't care about the muling stuff that much... but it annoyed him when it kept being brought up
it's not stealing. it's using a product you paid for.

not the point I'm making... but it turns into that argument... actually looking back at the conversation that's exactly what happened... and through the entire thing the HF twitter account was tagged.

so even if he tried to ignore it... it's showing up on his twitter notifications... only way to truly be able to ignore is to block.

I will say, gatorbeer (I'm assuming he was the one behind the DrinkCSB twitter) did apologize. But 2 more people got involved in the conversation.

no, drinkcsb is a brewery in omaha or some ****. gatorbeer said that he mentioned it all the way back in march while homebrewing. they're separate situations, and to block a homebrewer because he used your dregs is nothing but petulant and silly and just reinforces the reputation (fair or unfair) that shaun is kind of a baby. additionally, shaun was the first to respond to the drinkcsb tweet and started the convo himself with some weird aside about pedio. i know you're tight with them, but he's wrong here.

edit: i think this is gatorbeer's tweet

I usually use twitter on my computer at work or my laptop... so I never bothered with tweetdeck...

If you use tweetdeck (there's a good chrome app for it) it will speed up that whole "tweeting from multiple accounts" thing mightily - you can be logged into multiple accounts at once. I might not beat you on reposting important tweets next time ;)

ah, 2 different things... my bad... either way... the subject gets beat to death more than the which batch is better one...

all that said, anyone know how busy they've been this week? Really hoping to land some syrup on Thursday

hahaha... I use a separate browser for that... both are open simultaneously. I will give tweetdeck a try though. I hear a lot of good things... I've been wanting to find a way to mute untappd checkins from my twitter feed.

Yeah, great functionality for stuff like that!

I must try these things you speak so highly of

JulianB, Stagecoach Huevos Rancheros only 8 days away...
Want to like this post twice, once for each day I'll be eating them. Might go for the pancake special on Sunday though.

Or just say **** it and get a fruit pancake as a side with the huevos.

I hate you guys for this... only reason I am missing staying down in Waterbury next week... but Parson's corned beef hash is a great option

In other news, this beer is much better than when it first came out, a lot more balance and some tartness seems to have subsided. Hope the dregs go well with Casey, Sante and raspberries!

when I had it fresh, it NEEDED tartness - it was almost too sweet

Og bottle I had was puckering sour, more than any bottle of flora (or varients) I've ever, ever had. Fruit didn't come thru great because of it. Bottle variance perhaps? This bottle is killer, could crush this all day errrrrrryday

would think it have to be bottle variance. the bottle I opened in April was almost all fruit (super sweet currants) with next to no acidity. my friend and I could barely finish the bottle it was so cloying. the head was almost purple too where your pic is white

Anyone that went last year know if our DD needs to stay at the event or if they can enter->leave->return? Emailed info@ but got no response. Haven't been to an event since they ended the camping onsite and started the dd thing.

They just have to be with you when you check in and when you leave. They can leave for the event

i had no familiarity with the old system - as this was my first time visiting - but wow, the new system is awesome imo.

in and out in less than 45min on fri at 2:30pm with six growlers and tons of bottles in tow. spent the time waiting sipping samples and admiring the great scenery.

it's awesome how there's no lines. you just chill around and they call your number and set you up. awesome staff too -- friendly and smiling, and very prompt and hard-working. I knew the beer was exceptional. was happy that the actual brewery trip was the same.

honestly, it was a lot less hectic than Kane usually is on weekends haha. definitely more relaxed.

and thx to this thread for the Stagecoach recommendation. great place, amazing rancheros.
