I thought someone said no more 375 mL bottles for HF? But good.

Also, that was a really, really fast turnaround... seems like far less time on fruit than (at least some of) the fruited Floras have had in the past.
probably me, because that's what he told me back in september when he was selling their stock of 375s to Jackie Os

I couldn't find a Vermont thread so I'm sorry if this isn't the place, but here's the best news I heard all week!

pounders!

hey there, something that won't sit on shelves. Good for LN!

I think I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like LN Gose..
You can add me to the list. I stopped there when I was up a few weeks ago and it was pretty unremarkable as were every other one of their beers that I've tried.

My wife said it tastes like drinking saltines, in a not good way. I like their stuff, it's not mind blowing, but petit, rustic and pitch are all solid and better with their food. Seems like they would do better canning up lost Galaxy, coz ipa... :p But daaaaaayum current Harlan is ******* awesome.

I agree with you, but I could imagine it being REALLY tasty on a hot day playing disc golf though.
this was seriously my first thought. I'm always looking for new cans to bring golfing and hiking. Not a huge fan of westbrook gose but a pounder of this would be perfect!

I don't care for Westbrook Gose either, I find it way to sour/sugary lemonade tasting. LN's is much more balanced and drinkable. My new golfing beer.

it's the only beer I like from LN, and ione of the only Goses I like, period. (I don't see how everyone loves Westbrooks Gose so much, that **** is straight battery acid, up there with Upland Lambics)

I love petit ardennes and rustic amber, but just not a gose fan.

Only gose I really dug was Gose Gone Wild and that was more of a dry-hopped AWA than a Gose anyway

I like the regular LN Gose, it'll be nice to have the cans. The Gose on Currants they had when they opened was incredible, but I'm not sure if they ever brewed it again.

I literally thought it tasted identical to the normal one. Personally was unimpressed by it.

i am making a HF trip in the near future and was going to hit up Fiddlehead too, but now I am reconsidering skipping FH and checking out LN. Thoughts? I've been to neither

I usually hit LN after HF and then FH on the way out of town (usually the next day)

Heading to HF tomorrow morning. It's been about two years since I've been. I know the place has grown a bit, but what else has changed? I remember the road being terrible and almost getting stuck in a few places. With the weather is this still an issue possibly?

Does anyone know if they have any bottles left of Biere de Norma or Anna left on the shelf? I would doubt it, but figured I would ask anyway

Norma is still listed on the website and I did hear there was still some yesterday... so there's a possibility.

the roads are still the same... but I find if you stick to 16 to Taylor Rd then you should not have any issues.

As you noted, there has been ongoing construction. So, you will be walking into a completely different space and also see a building to the side that they are still working on. And the pavilion may not have even been there on your last visit.

The roads will certainly be the same and seeing as how some melting of snow and ice has occurred, you could potentially encounter some muddy, rough spots on the backroads. Someone who has recently been there could further comment.

And if you`re going tomorrow, getting up to 2 cases of Anna should be no problem. There is also the possibility of Norma still being around, but I would not be surprised if the remaining bottles are wiped out this afternoon. Have a great trip !

.
Hill Farmstead Flora Blue/Black
.
Flora is the wine barrel aged version of Florence (1915-1967), our grandfather's sister as well as the name of our wheat farmstead ale. Only a few barrels were selected, and that beer was aged further on a blend of fresh, hand-picked berries from Greensboro and East Hardwick. The result is a complex, elegant, fruit-forward blend that both marries and highlights each of its constituent elements.

$17/bottle; 4/bottles per person
