Brewed my first all grain batch. I did a 5 gallon batch. Figured I would start with a easy beer like an American Amber Ale. I started with 1.050 and ended with 1.010. Beer smith told me that was nearly 80 percent efficiency. Super pumped about reaching that. Now it's on to more intense beers like a stout or an IPA.

Nice! Congrats! Was that mash efficiency or brewhouse? Mash efficiency is based on the volume and gravity pre-boil and how much sugar you got of the mash. Brewhouse is at the end, how much volume and gravity you have going in to the fermenter.

I've been doing all grain for several years and with my system, I am usually at 70% brewhouse efficiency and 85%-90% mash efficiency, though once actually hit 98%!
