Glad to know this forum exists. First batch is brewed and fermenting well. I went with the Brewmasters American Cream Ale, swapping the lager yeast for an ale, so it can ferment in this hot Georgia summer. 3 weeks to bottle :mug:

Welcome from almost Rome, GA.
Same situation here, just brew my first batch this Sunday, waiting those 3/4 weeks.

I've been busy. Cream ale is almost gone, have the Light Lemonade Mead recipe from the Mead forum brewing (3 weeks in). Yesterday I brewed the Brewmasters Irish Stout kit and I believe that's going to be my last kit beer. I've got the setup in place to have 3 batched brewing at once, so my wife is in for it.

Today I made what I call the Fermentation Station, essentially a 2' high wood table so I can have a little storage underneath and I don't have to move the carboy on to a table a couple of days before I rack. Now it stays put.

I've named the home-brew operation Fisherman's Folly.
