Had a question as I was looking at the false bottom of my 5 Galloon Igloo Mash Tun - The Hex nut screws on to the elbow, but isn't attached to the actual false bottom at all.
Is it enough just to have it pressed against it? Does it have to be very tight? My false bottom moves around a little if you push it, just wondering how tight it should be.
