Ok so i had some ingredients laying around.

I had 3.5lbs plain light DME
I had 3lbs of light LME
32oz of raw pure honey
I had 1oz Cascade Pellets
I had 1oz Czech Saaz pellets

People on the forums said i should have some specialty grains 2 steep. So i went and picked up couple things at random. Seeing i usually just buy kits i have NO idea how 2 put this stuff together. I'm trying to create some sort of fruit beer with maybe strawberrys. Well heres the steeping grain i picked up.

1lb Honey Malt
1lb biscuit Malt
1lb Roasted Barley
1lb Carapils
1lb Carmel 40L (Crystal)
Also grabbed 1oz Cluster

Any ideas on how much steeping grains. And witch ones. What hop additions would be nice with this recipe with the fruit addition. I was thinking about adding all the DME and LME and Maybe half the honey. What do you think? But as far as the steeping grains go i have NO idea. I have only done extract and had the steeping grains all ready bagged out for me. Any help would be Great THANKS

I would steep .25 lbs honey malt and .75 c40 with maybe a half a pound of the honey. Bitter with cluster and split the cascade into two additions, one at 10 mins until the end of the boil, the rest when you turn off the flame. lme and dme to read desired gravity.
Just my $0.02
