I know one of the programs (maybe more than one) will convert recipie size for you. What I am looking for is a program that I can enter a recipie in 5 gallons as most are published in this size, and then hit a convert button to get another size. I am getting interested in making smaller batches as I am the only beer drinker in the house, and 5 gallons of the same thing is getting dull.
Also, if one program runs on Mac, that would be the best.
Can someone out there point me to which program fits the bill, size conversion first, running mac second.

If I understand right you just need to have the program scale the amount of grains and hops as you change the volume. In that case brewers-assistant (www.brewers-assistant.com) can do it - it's free to join and use. Since it's a web app it would run on PC as well as Mac.
