Help needed to age bourbon in a little barrel

what is the process for aging bourbon in one of those little barrels? I like to drink Evan Williams, would that work well, has anyone used that before? I'm new to this process but want to try it out. Where is the best place to get a little barrel that won't leak and is good quality? Can the barrel be reused? How long do you let the bourbon sit. Thanks.
