Help needed for hop bursting and no-chill

So, this weekend I'm planning on brewing an american wheat, with lots of hop flavour and aroma, but not much bitterness. Sort of what I think 3F Bubble Gum Head would taste like. I can't get that one here, but I had Mikkellers Drink'in The Sun, which is pale ale and wheat malt, som cara red and LOTS of amarillo. Not that bitter. Will probably be able to get the Southern Tier Hop Sun before brewday. I think hop bursting would be the way to reach all the amarillo goodness while keeping the IBUs around 20.

My problem is that I don't have any ways of chilling the wort. Will buy a chiller eventually, but funding it will be difficult for at least some time. I FWH when brewing pale ales, stouts and so on. Also hefes and dunkelweissens. And I know that FWHing is the way to keep aroma & flavour when no-chilling. But I am concerned about the amounts of hops boiling for around 90 minutes, about 3 oz. Can any of you guys please tell me to RDWHAHB, and not be concerned about the ~20 (perceived) IBUs when adding 3 oz of 9.7% AA hops to the beginning of the boil? Or is hop bursting simply not possible when no-chilling?

Oh, and thanks for all the advices on this forum. While I do use the danish brew fora, a population of 5.2 million people can only foster so many home brewers. This is a true eldorado for home brewing :mug: !
 
I always thought "hop bursting" was to load tons of hops at the end of boil. If you put 3 oz in a 90 minute boil or all first wort hopping, you will have no aroma or flavor just full on bitterness. I don't have experience no-chilling but I can't see how this would make a differnence.

If you want big hop aroma, bitter with a small amount at 60 and then add some more at 10 and then a huge load at flame out. Also reserve some for dry hop for additional aroma. Your additions at 10 and 0 are going to add very little bitterness to your IBU calculation.

I've done this with many of my pales - add a full 2 oz at flame out and it works. Very hoppy but not "bitter" per se.

As for not having a chiller, put your kettle in the bathtub with some cold water and ice.
