While watching a TV program regarding making mead I decided to give it a try.
Now that it is made I don't know what to do.
Can I put it in canning jars and can I use the canning jar lids? I don't want the expense of buying bottles just for this.
I have bought some recommended devises in order to transfer the mead into containers and know very little, if any, information on the process.
Also, I don't know WHAT CONTAINERS I CAN USE. I don't want to spend money buying containers if I have what will work already!
I know, I know, I should not have started this to begin with!
Any help will be appreciated.
Oh, I made "Joe's Orange & Spice Ancient Mead Drink" recipe.

Just drink it:)

If it is compleatly done and degassed ....
canning jars will work. Just not good for aging. Drink them within three to six months.

Use glass vodca, ect, bottles with screw caps. Will keep a long time.

Use wine on tap bags. Wash them out good and fill them up. They can handle a little gass if they are not filled up to the tippy top.

If all else fails, or if not fully degassed or done, use the heaviest water or soda bottles you can find. Keep in the fridge untill you drink them.
