I signed up a while ago but never have had the time to really get going on your forums. I have a house in Canby, Oregon, which is about 40 minutes south of Portland. I have been brewing for only about a year. I haven't had an opportunity to do as much as I wanted. I wont be able to add much for a while because I took a job for the next two years over here in Shanghai, China. I have been very busy but have started to find more time to do things I love. I will be back, however, in November of 2009. I hope you guys don't mind me hanging around and asking questions. I really like brewing! Beers that I have brewed and really like are America Bitters and Amber Ales including a very simple Fat Tire clone. Here in Shanghai, there are very few good beers. There are two Rogue Brewing varieties here but they taste like they have been on the shelf for a while. Still better than nothing. They aslo have Strongbow Cider and a Porter-ish beer called Kilkenny that I really like!!! I look forward to learning all kinds of new things from you guys!! Balou
