Hi guys, have been trolling the site for the last month or so and I really love all the info here. It has really helped me to round out my brewing abilities. I started brewing in the late 90's with an imperial stout extract kit. I went with something strong as I knew it would be a hard one to mess up. I have been brewing on again off again as I move around and have recently gotten back into it with the help of a thirsty friend. Now I am all grain and kegging. I usually cant wait long enough for my IPA's to fully condition but those last few pints that come out are really great. I am trying to increase my supplies so that I will have a large enough surplus so that I will be forced to let it age properly. Having trouble locating a good deal on bulk 2-row though. The Local shop here wants $55 a sack and from what I can tell from searching, there is no bulk supplier near me who's costs will offset the shipping. If anyone knows where I can find some cheap grain please let me know. I would always be interested in a group/bulk buy as well. :mug:

Welcome sunblock. http://www.brewmasterswarehouse.com is about 57 and change for Briess, but charges flat rate shipping of 6.99 no matter what you buy so depending on the size of your buy you could come out way ahead on that. For example: 50lbs 6.99 shipping, 100 lbs 6.99 shipping and so on.

Hey thanks for the info. thats about what I get at the local place, its about 30 min from me though. I would love to find 30 a sack somewhere. Hopefully I can meet up with some other guys on the board for a bulk buy.
