I'm guessing the LHBS you're referring to is Niagara Traditions? That Red Ale was my first brew at the beginning of the year. I think it turned out ok, but a lot of people claim to like it.

Not bad, but I realized very early on that I wasn't happy brewing someone else's recipe! They've been very helpful along the way, even though I must seem mad on days when I'm going ingredient-crazy. We're lucky to have them. WNY, unite! Haha
