Hello All,
I've been brewing on and off since my Sophomore year in College, 2008. Now that my Daughter is 2 I have some more time to get back into regularly brew sessions.
I enjoy just about all aspects of the process however lately I have become more and more interested in the effects of small tweaks to tested recipes, which actually has me brewing split batches to feed my intrigue.
I Brewed a 6 Gallon Batch Of Kolsch Last Night, then split it into three two gallon batches at flame out:
1 - Flame Out Hops Only
2 - Flame Out Hops and Honey
3 - Flame Out Hops, Honey Into Secondary
Although there are hundreds of threads that will tell me what each of these versions will taste like, I'd obviously rather taste them myself.
Brew On!
Eric
