I am a first time home brewer. I got a kit from my SIL for Christmas and we started a Salt City Blonde Ale. It has been fermenting for 8 days now.
Today I made Joe's Ancient Orange Mead following the recipe on this site.
I have a corny and CO2 ready for kegging and watching for a cheap garage fridge. I also have some bottles (swing top) and will bottle a few from my keg.
I have pretty much been reading topics on this forum daily since getting the kit. And I have been reading "The Complete Joy of Home Brewing".
Looking forward to my first home brewed beer in a few weeks!
