live in south houston area ....(pearland) been brewing for 5+ years. small scale 4 to 5 batches a year. i have used all types extracts,grains and all grain. my best beers have been a combination of of malt liquid extracts completed w/ a couple pounds of assorted grains for mini-mash. i have 4 children so time is important to me. i just started my first mini hop garden just to see what happens, i planted cenntenial,fuggles and willimete. im an avid gardner and love home grown tomatoes. i buy most of my supplies/grains/extracts for defalcos in houston (its on my way home off 610 loop)
couple problems i have had is cloudy beer after its chilled, meaning its aged and crystal clear while in the bottles, once its chilled it becomes cloudy......would like to fix this issue.
