i woke this morning with a weird thought,i'm familar with adding more than 2 lbs of sugar to get a higher alcohol somewhat. But what would happen if youmade a wash out of your wash? after it's cleared and you add 2 more lbs and yest and let it set again? I'm fairly new to this so if it's been done i'm interested in what those results were.

Can you post your recipe?
I've only added one pound of corn sugar to a batch and that was because the recipe called for it. Adding sugar will boost the alcohol content but you may end up with a much different beer than you hoped for. Also be aware that you will probably need to add more yeast. Anytime I ve wanted a little additional kick I add more grain to the bill.

Welcome from about 300 miles north of you (still in Texas). Every time you add more sugar and yeast it will just keep getting higher and higher abv until it reaches the yeast's tolerance, then it'll just start getting sweeter.
