Hello from Southern Cali

Hi, I just got my home brew kit for X-mas. Wanted to get one a few years ago,
but never did. Better late than never.
I haven't even made my first brew yet. I found this site while searching for
information and beer making supplies. Although new to home brewing, I'm not
new to these web forums. I've been a member of a jeep 4x4 forum for several years.
I live in southern California just southeast of Palm Springs. I hope there's other
members in this area.

You are doing it the right way. Do some research and ask plenty of questions before you brew. We can help you make some excellent beer with your first batch.
