Hi all-
I've been brewing for about a year, got out of it while moving from NY (Hudson Valley) to Monrovia, CA over the summer, but now I'm back in full swing.
I'm a fairly lazy, extract-plus-grains or partial-mash brewer. I made my first batch from a kit and have been winging it ever since: recipes are great research, but I really like making stuff up and seeing if it comes out as planned. Sometimes the results are kind of a unexpected but I manage to drink them anyway (though my wife doesn't always join me)...
Anyway, I've been reading lots of good info on the site for the past couple of weeks, so I wanted to say hello and thanks for all the pointers.
