Hello from Seattle

Hi everyone! I just started brewing about a month ago, started with a half batch of an Amber. I did the second half of the Amber, and have just finished bottling my second batch that is a Dark Porter. Things seem to be going pretty smoothly, but I'm sure I will be back with plenty of questions!

It seems like there is a pretty good community here of long time brewers willing to answer questions, and new guys, which is just the type of place I was looking for!

Welcome to HBT! I grew up just across the pond from Seattle, in Poulsbo. Congratulations on your first batches, I have 2 batches bottled and two more on the way.

There is an amazing amount of information here, and everyone is very helpful.

Yeah, I'm still struggling through some of it, but I'm looking forward to learning more here. I compiling alist of questions that I have to throw into a post in the beginner's forum here! =P
