New to brewing. North Central Phoenix area (Bell/I-17ish). I was given a True Brew K1 kit, 2 cases of bottles, a Brewer's Best Weizenbier kit and a 5 gallon kettle for Christmas. I brewed my first batch on December 26th, 2009. It was an interesting project. I bottled it on January 2nd, 2010. I'll detail my experience in another thread. It was very fun! I bought another kit from my local homebrew store. It's a Brewer's Best English Brown Ale kit, so that is what I am brewing up tomorrow. I'll detail that experience in another thread too. :mug:

Welcome :mug:
Hopefully the fermentation was done after only 7 days.
Did you check the gravities?
I usually wait at least 14 days, with "normal strength" beers, before bottling.
The yeast may not have been done and you could get bottle bombs.
Make sure to store them in the fridge to slow down the yeast.

Sure did ... here is the link to my first brew story

Welcome! glad you have another brew in the works, nothing worse than pounding down your first batch without having another one in the works. the pipeline is key to sheer beer joy.
