Hey everyone! My name is Chris and I'm stationed at NAS Pensacola. I've been a beer fanatic for quite some time now and this Christmas my fiancee got me a Mr Beer kit (the one with the bottles) and I'm just trying to get my feet wet with brewing. I've been very interested in the process for a long time and toured lots of breweries like Saint Arnold, Spoetzel, Southern Star, and Breckenridge. I know its not the ideal kit but I hope its a good starting point. I'm really trying to make some friends in the area that are into home brewing to try to learn a little about how it all works on a very small scale. I can't wait to start reading around here and try to learn all I can!
