Welcome to the hobby and the forum. You'll find a lot of good people here, plenty of them in your region.

We have a lot of PAers (and ex-PAers like myself) on the board.

Welcome to the site. Where in PA are you? We brew out of Philly. In fact, the annual HOPS BOPS homebrew competition takes place this weekend at Nodding Head. Results will be announced around 4:30 if you're interested. We put in two entries.

EDIT: I see you're in Harrisburg. Might be a little far to come to Philly!

CarlisleBrew - are you familiar with Deli C in Carlisle? Do they still have Inferno wings?

I travel to Philly on a regular basis. In fact I'll be in Camden this week. I tasted my first brew. I would give it a 5 on a scale of one to ten. 12 days fermenting, 12 days carbonating. Still conditioning most of it, but it was drinkable. My forst goal. Needs time to condition. Was just a little sweet still.

I moved here from MN. but I am a Detroiter. Love central PA. and would love to swap beers with others

I'm in Northeast PA.

I tasted my first brew, a Nut Brown, last night. It's been carboating for about a week.

It was Eh...but I didn't expect much.

Good luck.

Welcome!

I was born in Camden, but also lived in Philly...relatives still there...

There's another brewer from Carlisle here.

I don't recall his name, but I met him for a few brews earlier this year at the pub downtown.
