I've brewed extract for about a year a few years ago, and I'm excited to get back into brewing. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan with about 3 months left and I am reading all I can to be ready to hit the ground running when I get home, with and ebiab setup. Thank you all for the wealth of information and experience you share!

Sounds like a plan! Been there done that myself so I am picking up what you're putting down. I recommend a fast ferment fast carb in a cpl kegs for the first cpl batches to get your pipeline stocked.

Glad to see you are at the tail end of your deployment. I recommend a quick pale ale or ipa recipe to get you started so you don't have much turn around time. Or maybe an ESB so you don't have to dry hop at all and can just bottle or keg it saving you a week or so.:mug:

I'm planning one brewing Bee Cave Haus Pale Ale and BierMunchers Centennial Blonde as soon as I get my set up built. Any other quick turn around recipes to reccomend?

My nephew was a weapons trainer over there for quite some time. I think he finally retired for real this time. Pale ales & wheat ales can have a quick turn around.

Thank you to all the men and women who protect (and have protected) the U.S. Make it back safely Johnnyx. Who says Hefeweizen is just for summer?
