I just learned recently why the lake effect snow makes that up there wine country, while im 3 hours south of you and cant grow grapes worth a squirt.

Yes it takes alotta wine to make it through those lake effect snows we get, speaking of ne one make their own wine? Haven't tried that yet but the wordens been bugging me for a batch

Do a little reading.
If you do beer you already have all the equipment.
It takes about 2-3 months though from start to bottle, and an arguable 3 to 12 months before you should drink it.
Just like beer all the finer points are in the tongue of the beedrinker.

I started out brewing beer to keep me buisy between batches of wine.
Im about to start making cheese between batches of both.
