Hello Everyone,
I am new to home brewing. I made my first batch superbowl™• Sunday
It was a 1 gal brew kit i got for Christmas. I followed the directions very well except for the pitching the yest part. I just poured the dry yeast into the chilled wort. I see some bubbles on the top of the wort today. I was worried i had dead yeast and my first attempt would be fail.

I am not expecting much from my first brew its an IPA and i can only go up from here.

Welcome to the forum, from Minnesota!

Don't give up on that beer. Sometimes there will be little visible activity and yet the yeast will be munching away. Take a gravity reading in a couple weeks. That's the true test to know if fermentation is done.
