Hello everyone I've been brewing off and on since 2008 and stopped in 2011. I just recently made two batches after all these years and am happy with the results.
For my Midwesterners and east coasters let me tell you a little bit about the brew scene down here. Its actually kind of picking up as the demand from the younger generation for quality craft brews is growing.
Your dad's beer is no longer good enough for you as they say.
However the scene in DTLA is swank as there are a lot of small breweries competing for the new York, frisco hipster relocate dollar.
I think the scene here is going to be baking in a minute say a couple a years.
