I just moved from a small Chicago apartment to a house in Indy and decided there was no reason I should not be home brewing!
I recently found my local homebrew shop (which happened to be <5 minutes from my house), bought the basic equipment, and have started reading anything and everything I can find on the topic since. My goals with homebrewing are to broaden my knowledge / taste of beer and have a lot of fun.
I love hops and drink a lot of beer from Three Floyds, Stone, Dogfish Head, Lagunitas, and Founders. Some of my favorite local Indy breweries are Bier, Triton, Upland, and Sun King.
Looking forward to many years ahead of learning, brewing, and drinking great beer!
