Hello all,
I've been looking into Cider and Wine making for awhile now. I'm finally going to jump in and get a kit to get going. I plan on getting a couple one gallon fruit wine kits from Midwest Supply along with some extra one gallon containers. I think I've decided that I'd rather make small batches until I get the hang of it. Then graduate to the bigger pails and carboys. Thanks!

Hey! I am in Iowa too! And I am new! I am hoping to start home brewing this year, lets call it a resolution.... :)

I'll be ordering my kits next week after I get back from Vegas. I can't wait. I've been researching for quite some time now.

In case you didn't know there is a pretty good store in Dubuque that has beer and wine making supplies.

I didn't know that. I actually work in Dubuque. I'm still going to order my gallon kits online, but that's going to be great to have them right in town for specialty stuff. thanks!

Welcome to the forum from another Iowan. You might want to check out your local shop. After shipping it will probably be cheaper. Plus you get to support your local community and whatnot.

To midastouch: what's holding you up? and are you friends with Ben Green?
