Hello from Dallas

I was going to register earlier but I spent the better part of my evening staring at the airlock and listening to it bubble with glee. This isn't my first batch, but it's my first "large" scale batch. I got a Mr. Beer kit last year for Christmas and I've successfully brewed about 5 batches with it. When my father in law gave me a carboy that was sitting in his garage, I decided that I should upgrade my equipment. I just finished reading "Joy of Home Brewing". Which brings me to my next question...can anyone tell me what I've got brewing? Where would be the appropriate place to ask?

I think you will be happy you upgraded your brewing. It sounds like you already expanded your beer horizons.

There are two places you might want to post your recipe. The Recipe/Ingredient forum or Beginning Beer Brewing forum. There is a lot of very experienced brewers here that can help you with questions.

I'm pretty sure that whatever you are brewing, it will be beer.

The way they've been playing, it doesn't matter where the venue is. Crap is crap, be it in Irving or Landover.

Who told you that, the magic 8-ball? What part of "hottest team in the NFC" don't you understand? What part of "the same team who held adrian peterson to 30 yards and the entire Dallass team to 1 yard is going to put the crackdown on Shaun Alexander" do you not understand?

Your biases aside, the momentum and heart of this team indicates otherwise...but it's a requirement to talk sh*t, so it's all good. In reality, even if I wasn't a skins fan, I'd be picking the skins over the hawks tomorrow.

edit: apparently I'm not alone. Dispite the hawks being better on paper, the line is the skins by 3.5.

i hate to reiterate what has already been said, but the skins should do fine tomorrow. They will shut down shaun alexander and the seahawk passing game is not all that. If they play to the caliber they played against dallas, then we will be seeing you turds again and a week and some change.

Haters in DEED!!! I'm just glad to have another Texan on here and a local one at that!!! I too started on a Mr. Beer, then upgraded after reading the Complete Guide to Homebrewing, or as I like to call it, "The Beerble". I'm working on getting my recipes and journal pages and labels posted on my Myspace page www.myspace.com/thebeerlab
