Hey guys! Looks like a found a forum full of great folks here. Just got my first brew (a batch of brown ale) into the primary fermenter last night!

I'm a senior at Oregon State University and will be commissioning in the Air Force in June. I think I just found a seriously fun new hobby. Had such a blast mixing up my first brew. I had my fiance hold the strainer when i poured the cooled wort into the primary and she was not digging the smell haha. Of course I loved it but how could I not? It's my baby!

Hopefully she will come to like the smell. My hubby and I have been brewing together for years. It is a very fun hobby to share and it makes bottling day much easier if you have a brew partner. :D
