Hello all! Joined last month but haven't gotten around to the intro.
I'm still a guppy with brewing, as my first batch was this past September. That was an American Pale Ale, and since then I've done a Belgian, Oatmeal Stout, IPA, Belgian (replicate), and another IPA. The second Belgian just started drinking, and the IPA just got put in the keg. I am kegging for convenience and lack of space to store bottles, and I am about to begin a keezer build since I am wanting to keep a variety going. I started out with a 4 gallon pot for the first 3 batches, then graduated to a 15 gallon kettle using a BIAB. I also made a counterflow chiller in order to work with the larger kettle and it turned out great. First batch was 200 in, 62 out! I also grow Willamette, Glacier, and Perle hops that I planted a couple of years ago in anticipation of wanting to start brewing.
Looking forward to chatting about brew, and thanks in advance for all the advice I'll be asking for!
Kevin
Here's some brew related pics to kick things off!
