Hello all!

I am new to homebrewing, thanks to a wonderful fiance purchasing a kit for me for Christmas. I've gone online and purchased three kits to start with, an Irish Red, a Nut Brown Ale, and a Coffee Stout. Wanted to mix it up a little and see what I liked best.

I haven't found anywhere here in Chattanooga to purchase homebrew supplies yet. From what I understand the place that used to carry equipment and ingredients quit carrying it, and there is someone in town looking to start up a business but I can't find it or a way of contacting the people that are trying to start it. Oh well, guess I will be doing my shopping online for now.

Well, once my kits come in and I get started on my first batch, I will let you guys know how it went.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

Welcome to the forum.

The nearest brick and mortar homebrew stores to you seem to be in Nashville and Atlanta. Looks like the internet is the way to go.

For equipment, you could also try restaurant supply stores, they can usually get you the kettles, and other such equipment. As for the rest of it, you may have better luck with online stores.
