Hello from AZ desert

Hi. I'm new to home brewing. Just got a dual glass carboy kit from Northern Brewer for Xmas. Tried the Irish red ale now I'm looking for. Kolsch kit online. The closest homebrew store is in Flagstaff but that's a 4 hr drive. Anybody made a really great Kolsch at home?

Where you at in AZ man? it takes 4 hours to get to Flagstaff from like the Mexican border.... So there should be one closer....

I'm on the UT border, actually Vegas is closer than Flag. Probably some good stores there.
