Hey,
Me and a friend have jumped right into brewing back in August. We started with all grain batches even though everybody we talked too said we should start with extracts. we build most of our equipment, and I have been the one making the recipes. So far we have made a 5 gallon ipa that came out awesome but undercarbonated. We then did a 10 gallon batch of the same ipa with improvements. Then we did a Belgian white with my own twist on the spices. we just bottled a cider, and we have a heavy, hoppy, original stout in primary right now. We bottle condition with my own award winning grade A extra dark amber Maine make syrup from maplehouse farm in Waterboro Maine. All our batches have been great for a couple of rookies. I have spent a lot of time reading threads from here, and decided I would join the community.
