I am fairly new to making beer and have only made a few batches. It's been a few years since I have made anything, but I hope to start a batch this weekend and get back into it. I found this site looking for answers to my questions and found a lot of good info.

I'm going to make a Pale Ale from a recipe I found online

The ingredients are

6 lbs of light dry malt extract
1 lb of crystal malt 40L
1/2 oz northern brewer hops @60 min
1/2 oz "" @30 min
1/2 oz cascade hops @ 10 min
1/2 oz cascade dry
1 tsp irish moss 30 min
1 pkg whitbread dry yeast

hopefully it will turn out ok

Welcome aboard! There are a lot of great people here who have helped me out. Will you find the same! Now I want to make an IPA. Well that will be next weekend!
