Heavy Duty Bench Capper

I am looking to purchase a bench capper but all I can find are ones made of aluminum and plastic. Does anyone know where I can purchase a well built hand operated bench capper? If I can't find anything I like I have an antique bench capper that I am tempted to put into use.

It looks like you already have an antique there, but I was going to say check out your local antique shops and pawn shops near you. I've seen a few really nice, heavy duty cappers in shops like that and they usually are priced fairly reasonable.

I will do a few test bottles to see if my antique capper even works. It is definitely heavy duty, that's for sure. But there are so many quality items for the home brewer I am really surprised that someone doesn't make high quality\heavy duty bench capper.

I got me a Colonna. It's plastic, but it ain't flimsy! I've had it for 13 years and it's bottled many many brews...

I think I might have what you are looking for. I'm on my way out for a few days of monster sturgeon fishing on the Snake river in Hells Canyon. When I get back I'll take a picture of what I've got if you are still looking.

I got mine on ebay for $16, it's an antique but works well! Looks like this one!
