Just got my new banjo burner in the mail today and fired it up. Its pretty ridiculous, love how quick it boils. After using it, I found a rainbow discoloration on the outside of my pot. From what I've heard its known as heat tint. Is this bad that I am experiencing heat tint? Does this weaken my brew kettle being heated this high or negate any of its stainless properties? Is there any real need to scrub this off with BKF if it will come off?

I don't think it does either. I've seen it alot on exhaust systems. Some many years old and still showing no signs of corrosion.
