I brewed a stout beer and I am having a problem with my head retention, the head simply disapeared. I think it has been caused by one of the ingredients.
Pilsen malt 2Lb 3.27oz (1kg)
rosted barley 14.11oz (400g)
Oats Flaked 5.67oz (160g)
wheat raw 2.82oz (80g)

for a batch of 2 gallons (8 litrers).
is there any problem with the ingredients? What else could be the problem?

Flaked oats should add to head retention. If raw wheat has oil content that could be killing the head retention. How is the carbonation?

Trying adding a few ounces of both carafoam/carapils dextrin and torrified wheat to your recipe next time. Always works for me.
