Has anyone tried Core Beer?

From what I have heard, very VERY recently, they add a nuttiness to the beer.

Allagash has a couple of beers that use roasted seeds, too.

My grandpa has a very secret fried walnut stew recipe. He left it to me in his will, but I cannot tell those secrets.

I don't know where I found that recipe for the beer, but you might google it.

Try: pumpkin seed beer

If I had a kick-ass epic recipe like that, I wouldn't share it with ANY of you fookers. I'd keep it all to myself for sure.

Damn, and I sooo wished I could brew something so grand. If I had to add pumpkin seed though, I would probably do it like this and add after transfer to secondary...

3 cups raw pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix all and place on a cookie sheet.(use foil for less clean-up)
Roast at 450F for 20 minutes or so, until a seed or 2 are looking almost burnt.

A brewery around there said they use seeds but split each one with a razor first. I am not sure if I believe them or not. But it had more pumpkin flavor than others'.

I <3 you guys. I very VERY recently read about Core beer also. While it sounds semi-interesting, it doesn't sound like something I would want very often, maybe 1-2 beers in a year. Further, it seems like you could probably get the same effect without the actual seeds.
