What is a good/best way to tell that my Cascade hops are ready to harvest? They currently are about a quarter in size with small viney/string looking things hanging out of the cones.

I'm sorry....

A FREAKING QUARTER???????

OK, sorry., mine are a little bigger than, say dimes.

You are supposed to wait until september in most parts.

They are supposed to be dryish and have yellow powder and some other stuff. ;)
